Being in NYC for the Festival was one of the most unforgettable and amazing experiences of my life. In addition to a truly brilliant film program, the most memorable things happened away from the theatre, most likely on the back of a bicycle - in the hot crowded streets, inside dark basement clubs, under huge leafy trees in parks at 5am, being dinked around fountains like in a movie, at booths in diners half asleep whilst babbling passionately/incoherently about all things bicycle, shredding through traffic on 5th Avenue, giggling uncontrollably over photo show 'n tells of ludicrous shennanigans, slow motion bike crashes outside the Guggenheim, riding over bridges at sunrise, dancing till it hurt with beautiful bike babes, and meeting so many enthusiastic and creative bike riders from BFF crews all over the world.
An extra special, super sloppy, mega corny hug and kiss goes out to my Sydney partners in crime Lauren, Josh, and Stefan. Experiencing this city with you was indescribably rad! Also: to Nora, the NYC BFF Dreamgirl, Torao from BFF Japan, Armando from Boston and the BFF boys from Copenhagen - you are all such ultimate legends and sharing so many ridiculous adventures with you was SO MUCH FUN.
xoxo Kit
